SAIPH:  Suicide Awareness Intervention Prevention and Healing Coalition, Yukon-Kuskokwim region.

ASIST: Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training

The ASIST workshop is for caregivers who want to feel more comfortable, confident, and competent in helping prevent the immediate risk of suicide. It is a two-day, highly interactive, practical, and practice-oriented workshop that provides valuable tools to help intervene when encountering a person at risk of suicide.

The SAIPH Coalition created a subcommittee to help ASIST trainers plan and conduct ASIST workshops. Below you will find a form to fill out if you need help planning travel for a master trainer or request workshop kits; a spreadsheet tracking each ASIST trainers completed trainings; and a calendar of ASIST events. .
